Hook Village Halls (we have two) are the vibrant hub of village life. Unlike some halls, Hook boasts a host of permanent organisations and regular hirers, complemented by functions and available to hire for parties and other get-togethers. HVH will be holding a Self Care expo on Saturday 12th October, at Elizabeth Hall, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. We are looking for local businesses for this holistic event. If you're interested, please comment below and we'll be in touch
We had a superb pre-Easter lunch of roast lamb and all the trimmings yesterday, followed by apple crumble or authentic Italian Crème Caramel, thanks to help of a Christmas donation by Hook and Odiham Lions as it rather went over budget. Thanks must also go to all the volunteers who prepare, cook, serve and clear up. All our clients went for the lamb of course!![]()
The sociable lunch for older people and those on their own, meets in the Elizabeth Hall, Raven Road, RG27 9HH on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12.15pm (arriving from noon).![]()

Villages Against Warehouses (VOW) are holding a publicmeeting at Elizabeth Hall this Thursday at 7.30pm and this is regarding the opposition of warehouses being built at Lodge Farm (just by J5 of the M3). Not only will this affect all the residents of Hook, it will affect many other surrounding villages so we anticipate a busy evening.![]()

It is likely that the car park will be full and we would therefore ask that encourage as many people to walk. If you need to drive, and the car park is full, please use the alternative car parks in the village and not to park on surrounding residential roads.![]()
